Turnaround

Normally no more than seven days

Most alterations are completed within seven days. The exact timing depends on the total volume and complexity of work in the shop.

We send you an SMS as soon as your item is finished, so there is no need to call and check. If you need something sooner, an express service may be available for a small additional charge—just ask in the shop.

How our pricing works

Fair pricing starts with seeing the garment.

“Shortening” might mean jeans, plain trousers, lined trousers or trousers with turn-ups. They sound like the same job, but the construction, method and time can be very different.

More than 1,800 pricesOur pricing reflects the enormous variety of garments, fabrics, construction methods and alterations we handle.
No inflated blanket priceA single headline price has to cover the most complicated version of the job. People with simpler garments can then end up overpaying.
Pay for what yours needsWe examine the item and price the actual work required. It is more accurate and fairer for you.

A photograph is not enough. It cannot show internal construction, layers, linings or how the garment needs to be opened and rebuilt. Bring the item into the shop and we can assess it properly.

Can you complete it more quickly?

An express service may be available for a small additional charge. Bring the item in and ask the team.
